but it's probably not in Roswell, New Mexico.
The UFO Museum and Research Center was very interesting. They might consider spending a little money to hire someone to write the captions under the various 'attractions', but other than that it was pretty fun. The best part was probably the life-sized 'model' of extra-terrestrials and their spacecraft, which periodically simulated a crash landing on earth.
I also enjoyed the gallery of pictures taken by civilians.
The museum featured this big thing that I guess is ancient...
and the interpretation of the symbols...
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty convinced that the "symbol representing combustable fuel" couldn't possibly be anything else.
Don't get the wrong idea here, I definitely believe in aliens. If I don't live to see the day we contact other life forms, I better be alive for the zombie apocalypse.

Adventures!
Driving into Santa Fe was an interesting experience. The homes and buildings here aren't like they are in the east. They're built to fit into the surrounding scenery, instead of replace the scenery. The mountains make up the skylines. It's really beautiful and unlike any other urban area I've experienced.
Albuquerque is great! It's a beautiful city, and surprisingly cool! The college area was probably the highlight, although the downtown area was full of unique businesses and crowded with people. It was not really what I was expecting. The mountains are always visible from the streets, making the skylines pretty interesting. I really do love how the buildings and homes throughout New Mexico fit into the background and allow the natural scenery to take precedence. The are mountains are everywhere you look!
Sleeping Arrangements
Stay in Albuquerque tonight, leave for Taos, then Colorado Springs in the morning.
